Getting to the start
Choose a broad start window when you register. A bus from Ruka to the Oulanka start area is available for an extra fee. In spring, choose a bus departure if you are taking the bus, or an arrival time if you are making your own way there. Your bus departure or arrival time does not set your exact start time on the route. When you are ready at the start area, follow the staff’s instructions and make your way to the start. Your timing begins when you actually set off on the route.
Parking at the start area is limited. There is no separate water point at the start: fill your bottles or hydration bladder before you arrive at the start area.
Start and finish
The start is at Oulanka Visitor Centre and the finish is in Ruka pedestrian village. Your start bag will be returned to the finish in Ruka. Minimum age: you must turn at least 18 during the event year.
Read the registration information.
Cut-off time – 55 km
The cut-off time is measured from the moment you actually set off on the route.
Reach the finish no later than 14 hours after your start.
